PQ Lore: Schwenderhalle Manor has stood for centuries upon its low bluff overlooking the river Reik. From this vantage point, the occupants of the manor have looked down upon the many ships that pass by on their way to and from the Empire's capital city of Altdorf. Despite the proximity of the Morr's Repose, the lords of Schwenderhalle know that they, and not the defenders of the moldering grave keep, are truly the last line of defense between Altdorf and any force that might lay siege to the great city.

The forces of the Empire must not allow the invading Chaos warhost to gain control of the manor, for if they did, it could be used as a base from which to disrupt the shipments of supplies that are so vital to the defense of Reikland.
