PQ Lore: In the culture of the High Elves, the Vault of the Dragon Princes is an oddity. Rarely do the children of Ulthuan entomb their dead, yet the Vault holds the remains of many of the noblest Elves of Caledor.

These remains are just that: remains. The Vault is essentially a great cenotaph, protecting reliquaries and artifacts, armor and weapons, scrolls and volumes. Items that possess some historic or nostalgic value for the people of Caledor are held here, and at the dawning of each century a young Dragon is chosen to protect these treasures.
