PQ Lore: Muddy bootprints well with water as once-solid land is reclaimed by the stagnant water that saturates the ground in the Marsh of Madness. It would prove to be an effective metaphor for the Dwarfs' efforts in the Marsh so far.

Murdogh's efforts to shore up the embankment were proving futile. Only stone would do to elevate and repave the roads through the Marshes. The sodden earth was useless as a building material, save as mortar. Thankfully the Mourkain ruins scattered throughout the bog proved to be made of good solid stone that could be harvested and put to use. Can Murdogh see the road built and the Oathgold caravans sent safely on their way before the inevitable greenskin attack?
