PQ Lore: The Broken Forest is named for the once-friendly forest spirits there that have become tainted and aggressive. No one is certain what corrupting influence has turned the protectors of the forest into mindless, bloodthirsty beasts, but most point to the Dark Elves as the most likely culprits. The High Elves mean to repair the damage done to this ancient glade and cure its denizens of whatever affliction ails them.
